The Friends of McCowan Memorial Library is a group of people who have joined together to form a Non-Profit support organization for McCowan Memorial Library. The aim of the Friends of the Library is to allow our library the opportunity to offer programs and services that could otherwise not be attempted.
Purposes:
- To improve the services and resources of the library
- To promote citizen involvement in library activities
- To build a great realization of the importance of the library to the future development of the Pitman
- To attract bequests, endowments and gifts of books, money, or other appropriate materials beyond the resources of the library budget.
Anyone with a desire to see McCowan Memorial Library thrive and grow--who has a willingness to be a part of that growth.
